BETTER4U was featured at the 34th Congress of the European Childhood Obesity Group (ECOG), held in Uppsala from 26-28 November 2025, where experts from around the world gathered to discuss the latest advances in childhood obesity research and clinical practice. The congress covered key topics including prevention, treatment, nutrition, physical activity, psychology, pathophysiology, pharmacotherapy and bariatric surgery.
The European Cluster of Obesity Research (OBEClust) opened the congress with a dedicated session presenting the work of its participating projects. During this session, the BETTER4U project was represented by the HUA and KI teams, who introduced the project’s mission, ongoing activities, and shared the latest updates alongside fellow cluster projects (PAS GRAS, Bio-Streams, Obelisk Project EU, OBCT), strengthening BETTER4U’s visibility within the scientific community.
The congress also provided an excellent opportunity to exchange knowledge, build professional networks and bring new scientific insights into the project. By working with leading experts across disciplines, BETTER4U continues to support obesity prevention and management through evidence-based, sustainable and personalised lifestyle interventions.
