is an Assistant Professor in Molecular (Pharmaco) Epidemiology at UMC Utrecht and a visiting scientist at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. Her research focuses on molecular epidemiology, particularly in diabetes precision medicine, using omics approaches (genomics and metabolomics) to predict and understand complications of type 2 diabetes, including those affecting the brain, heart, liver, and kidneys.
