The European Association for the Study of the Liver (EASL) Congress, held from 27-30 May in Barcelona, Spain, is one of Europe’s leading events dedicated to liver health and hepatology.
The congress programme explored liver health and liver-related diseases from different perspectives, promoting innovation, collaboration and progress across the field of hepatology. As obesity is linked with more than 200 health complications, including liver disease, the BETTER4U project was represented by the European Association for the Study of Obesity (EASO), one of the project’s partners.
BETTER4U work was shared with delegates in the exhibition hall, enhancing the project’s visibility at the European level and across the obesity and broader health communities. The discussions highlighted a shared recognition of the need for more tailored approaches and earlier intervention to support prevention and long-term health.
